We were engaged by a client who had just joined a 40 person business which was about to embark on a step change growth strategy. The organisation had been very successful and delivered excellent growth but their people processes hadn’t kept pace with increasing complexity or legislation. It was vital that the business operated a best practice management model in order to be eligible to tender for major contracts.
Beginning with a full review of existing capability, we quickly identified compliance gaps and areas of improvement. In conjunction with our legal partners, we implemented a compliant suite of contracts and policies within days. Now in a compliant setting, we created effective processes which reflected the culture of the organisation and provided the directors with comfort regarding their obligations to their staff.
We then commenced a change management process to embed the new work practices before assembling a project-based recruitment team who delivered multiple hires as a new division was created to service the requirements of a major new client.
Finally, we worked with the firm’s IT consultants to “digitise” the new management workflows within their bespoke technology environment, delivering maximum compliance and efficiency.
We were appointed, as part of a multi-disciplinary project management team, to advise a state government department and provide assurance on a multi billion dollar FM contract with significant operational challenges.
We assembled a team based in both Melbourne and Perth to deliver the work which demanded contribution in terms of assurance, project management and subject matter expertise. By having a co-located team, we were able to quickly mobilise, understand the environment and start delivering value for our client.
We championed a culture of collaboration within the client’s internal teams as well as externally with the FM’s People & Organisation team, creating the breathing space to develop delivery plans while maintaining robust accountability under the master contract.

Services were delivered in a fast-moving, challenging environment and required us to quickly increase resource deployment during extended periods of absence on the client side and scale back in less active periods, providing a nimble and affordable solution.
Following a successful year in the project, we completed our deployment with the effective handover to a newly created in-house team.
